Trevor joined the firm in 2014 after graduating from the University of Virginia School of Law. Trevor has experience working in a wide range of transactional law issues. Trevor’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations, and business formations, but also includes a variety of other subjects.
Trevor has helped complete more than 40 acquisition, sale, and investment transactions for the firm’s clients. Notable recent transactions include L&W Supply Corporation’s acquisition of NexGen Building Supply, an Indiana based company, ABC Supply Co., Inc.’s acquisition of DRI Supply Co., a California based company, and ABC Supply Co., Inc.’s acquisition of CSC Home & Hardware, a West Virginia based company. Such transactions have ranged from small, single location acquisitions of family-owned business with less than ten employees to large stock acquisitions and mergers with nationwide business requiring significant diligence review and negotiations.
Trevor advises businesses in transactional contracts and negotiates those contracts on behalf of the firm’s clients. These contracts include various information technology type agreements, employment agreements, and vendor service agreements. Trevor’s work in these areas has been with local start-up businesses seeking to grow their client base as well as large nationwide corporations with significant needs from a variety of vendors.
Trevor’s also assists clients with the formation of corporations and limited liability companies in a variety of jurisdictions, including Alabama, Delaware and Wisconsin. Trevor prepares the initial paperwork required to set up these companies and works with the companies to put in place bylaws, operating agreements, buy/sell agreements, share subscription agreements, and other related documents.
