Brian Richardson joined the firm’s litigation group in 2018 following several years serving as in-house corporate counsel to a local business group. As in-house counsel he gained experience in a broad variety of corporate legal issues. Brian regularly negotiated and drafted vendor and customer agreements, real estate documents, and employment agreements. He further managed litigation matters, employment issues and commercial landlord/tenant matters.
Prior to moving to North Alabama, he began his practice in Orlando, Florida representing Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 companies in litigation matters on a local, regional, and national basis. Representing automobile, material handling equipment, and medical device manufacturers in products liability lawsuits, he also had the privilege of representing theme parks in high exposure litigation matters.
In 2008, Brian, a native of North Alabama, returned home to work for a large regional law firm representing clients in a variety of litigation matters. He litigated construction disputes on behalf of owners, general contractors, and sub-contractors.
At the Leo Law Firm, Brian represents the firm’s clients in construction and corporate litigation matters both locally and nationally. He reviews, drafts and negotiates customer, vendor and supplier agreements for the firm’s national building material supplier clients.
